The town of Zvolen is rich in historical monuments, even those with military themes. In Višnovský park, next to the railway station of Zvolen, there is a copy of one of the three armoured trains (Hurban) made at the time of Slovak National Uprising by workers of railway workshops in Zvolen.

Armoured trains - Hurban, Masaryk and Štefánik - were actively involved in fighting in the Slovak National Uprising. The Hurban train first took part in the fighting at the end of September on the line between Hronská Dúbrava and Žiar nad Hronom. Later, on October 4, it was involved in repelling the German attack at Čremošné.

The exhibited armoured train is a replica made for the movie about Slovak National Uprising in 1974. Only two wagons have been preserved from the original three armoured trains. Tank wagon is parked in the railway depot in Zvolen, machine gun wagon was transported to the park in front of the Museum of the Slovak National Uprising in Banská Bystrica.
