The beautiful Strážovské Hills are full of charming caves, but only a few are open to the public. One of those accessible all year long is Babirátka Cave, located in the valley Radotiná near the village of Pružina.
The cave is 19 meters long. It was probably created by erosion and dissolution of limestone by groundwater 300,000 years ago. The cave itself is without karst decoration. The Barbirátka Cave is easily accessible on foot or on bike. Access to it leads along the old road between the local parts Priedhorie (about 1.5km) and Mlynište.
