In the spa town of Piešťany, there is the Balneological Museum of Imrich Winter, which also includes Villa of Dr. Liska. The building is located on Štefánikova Street near the Evangelical Church. There are two permanent expositions installed in the building.
On the ground floor, there is an exposition entitled "History of Slovak Spas", which will acquaint visitors with the history of not only contemporary but also defunct spas in Slovakia. The exposition is divided into several parts and through interesting artifacts you can be drawn into the colorful spa history, which will give you a comprehensive overview of the history of spa in Slovakia.
On the first floor there is an interesting exhibition called "Sacral Art from the Collections of the Balneological Museum". This exhibition presents a collection of sculptures of saints and saints from the 18th and early 19th centuries from the region of Piešťany (Chtelnica, Sokolovce, Vrbové) and from unspecified localities in this area. Interesting short-term exhibitions from the field of history, archeology, fine arts, ethnography and natural sciences are regularly held in the exhibition areas.
