We all remember the poem about the unfulfilled love of poet Andrej Sládkovič to Marina Pischl. But do you know where her birthhouse is located?
You can find it on the Square of the Holy Trinity in Banská Štiavnica, where today it serves as an exposition called Epicenter of Love, which is dedicated to the world's longest love poem, which is also registered as a world record by the World Record Academy.
The heart of the House is the BANK OF LOVE. It is ready to keep forever and protect up to 100,000 love stories. LOVE BANK is created from verses of the poem Marína. In each verse there are as many Love Boxes as there are letters, signs, and spaces in the verse, and you can use one of the boxes for your love too.
Modern technology of talking images will draw you into the true story of fateful love, from which you will hear Sládkovič, professing his love for Marina.
The fascinating exhibit is certainly Sládkovič's library with the original manuscript of the poem Marína, which has already been 170 years old and still emits longing for love.
You will experience the fun thanks to the attractions like Lovemeter, which measures the love of couples and expresses them with the verses of the poem Marína.
The tour is in Slovak, English or Hungarian language and lasts 45 minutes.
