Bezovec is a striking and relatively high peak lying in the main ridge of the volcanic mountain Považský Inovec. Bezovec Hill is wooded, but there are also smaller limestone rock formations on its northern slope.
From the top, there is a nice view of the ridge of the White Carpathians, Považie, Tribeč and the Lower Nitra Basin. From Bezovec Hill, you can go back or continue to the ruins of Tematín Castle.
In case you want to relax after this climb, there is also a recreational area and a tourist hut nearby. During the winter season, Bezovec is a sought-after ski resort.
Hike to this hill is unpretentious and can be managed by smaller children or even mothers with stroller. By car, you can get almost under its peak, where the Hotel and Ski Center of Bezovec with parking lot is located. From there, it is only a few minutes of walk on the hiking forest path.
