Description
National Zoo in Bojnice is the oldest and most visited zoo in Slovakia. Bojnice Zoo lies in close proximity to the romantic Bojnice Castle.
It belongs to zoos of general type, i.e. without specialization. National Zoo of Bojnice presents a unique collection of animals from all over the world in more than 430 species, and therefore Bojnice Zoo can boast of the largest collection of all Slovak zoos.
Thanks to the special programs offered by the ZOO, you can experience how is it ot be a nurse, a gardener or a chef in a zoo. You can reveal the secrets of animal life through the guided tour, or you can even find yourself in the backyard of a zoo where an ordinary visitor cannot get.
In the souvenir shop, you can buy gifts, souvenirs and promotional items on the theme of the Bojnice Zoo.
The Bojnice Zoo is open daily throughout the year.
