Slovak Paradise is a place full of enchanting karst ravines, caves or waterfalls. But there are also beautiful hills and sightseeing places too.
One of them is the highest peak of the Slovak Paradise - Ondrejisko with the highest point of the massif - Borovniak. With its bare and wide top, you will be hesitating where to look first. The surrounding mountains - the Slovak Paradise itself with the Hnilec Valley, the dominant Kráľova hoľa, the ridge of the Low Tatras, the Stolická Hills and the Muránska Plain - can be seen in full beauty.
Just below the peak, there is a wooden bench, which is made for a moment of rest and contemplation of the surrounding beauty of nature. Borovniak Hill is also ideal for other wanderings, always offering different views from every location.
A hike to this area is not difficult, but you should spare at least half a day for it. The top of Borovniak is accessible by a marked hiking trail, for example from Telgárt, Čuntava or Dobšinská Ice Cave.
