The Botanical Garden is a workplace of Comenius University, whose mission is to maintain and expand collections of living plants, assist in educational activities and provide information to the public. The greatest interest of visitors is aroused by thermophilic plants grown in greenhouses.

Although the Botanical Garden is not one of the biggest in the world, it has a lot to offer. Here, you can see different kinds of plants, from small flowers, through large trees to exotic plants and cacti.

The site is equipped with nice paths, also suitable for strollers. For children, there is a smaller playground. There are several shelters and seating in the botanical garden too. In good weather, a blanket is enough to comfortbaly sit in the grass.
