The castle park was built in 1844 by Count Francis Pálffy. In this period, there were precious woods planted around the castle and in lower part, there were monuments of popular Countess dogs. Over time, the castle park has become a place of relaxatio not only for nobility, but also for the general public. Since 1931, the park is owned by the town of Pezinok, which takes care of its good condition. There are many rare woody plants in the park, such as plane tree, magnolia or honey locust.
Visitors have the opportunity to get acquainted with the names of plants and animals as well as with a more detailed description of their occurrence in the Castle Park on the Educational trail. The park also houses Pezinský Castle with a Museum.
