Minčol is the highest peak of the Čergov mountain range with an altitude of 1157 m. It has a clear-cut character with typical Carpathian mountain flora, extending into forest communities.
At the same time, Čergovský Minčol is an important tourist point, as evidenced by the number of marked trails leading to it. Among the most used ascent routes in direction of Prešov is the blue-marked trail that leads from Kyjov through the ridge above Sokol Valley, or yellow-marked trail from Šarišské Jastrabie. In direction of Bardejov, there is another yellow-marked trail from Livovská Huta. An unmarked, but rather undemanding route from the village of Potoky, which is approximately 4 km long, can also be used for fast ascent.
