Enthusiasts of trips in the little-known corners of our Slovak nature will surely be pleased by the location of Čertova pec (Devil's furnace). It is a cave created by dolomitic limestone.
It is located near the village of Radošina, in the Považský Inovec Mountains. The cave is 27 meters long and is passable from both sides. It represents a rare archaeological and paleontological site with evidence of a multiple Paleolithic settlement of Hallstatt culture.
At the cave, there is a roadhouse of the same name, where you can refresh yourself and gain new strength. There is also a game house in which you can see a number of different wildlife from the local forests.
Access to the Čertova pec cave is just 3 minutes from the mentioned roadhouse at the road between Piešťany and Radošina via the marked walkaway. The entrance to the cave is publicly free.
