Chynorany - the birthplace of the Slovak writer Valentín Beniak, but also the village, where the remainder of the originally contiguous floodplain forests of western Slovakia has preserved - the so-called Chynoriany Grove.
In 1981, Chynoriansky luh was declared a state nature reserve. It is the small oak-ash alluvial forest extending on area over 1 x 0.5 km.
The floodplain forest with the remnants of flood arms is one of the few resorts allowing the survival of several plants and animals. This place has become the home of many rare plant and animal species. It is a paradise for butterflies, up to 193 species of them live here.
It is an ideal location for taking a trip in any season. In Chynorany Glove, you can relax from your daily duties and slow down your pace for a while and let yourself be carried away only by the beautiful nature that is everywhere around you.
