The Town Museum in Štúrovo is housed in an ancient building of Frankl family built in the 19th century. It is a type of local museum with local and ethnographic intentions.
The first exhibition is entitled "Regional History Exhibition" and presents the history of Štúrovo and its surroundings from prehistoric times to the present. The ethnographic exhibition looks into the folk culture of Štúrovo and its surroundings, providing visitors with the possibility of an indirect return to the ancient past. During this exhibition, visitors can see folk costumes and objects. The last exhibition “Gallery of Personalities” provides space for the spiritual heritage of those who by their deeds or works of art made the town of Štúrovo famous.
In the garden of the museum there are exhibited individual utility objects of the peasant farm as well as some fishing tools that emphasize the proximity of the local rivers. Temporary exhibitions, which are regularly organized by the museum, complement and expand the permanent exhibitions of the museum.
