If you are thinking about how to do sports with a small child, cycling tour to the Svidovské Saddle is an ideal idea. You can complete this short but intense trip in 1.5 hours. Jánska Valley is located behind the village of Liptovský Ján and is a cave paradise and ascent route to the cottage of M. R. Štefánik below Ďumbier or Ohnište mountains.
The route starts at the parking lot near Stanišovská Cave. It continues on the asphalt road to the gamekeeper's house Pred Bystrou, where it turns left. After about 500 m, there is a barrier that needs to be overcome and we continue along the forest road alongside the sheepfarms and herd of cows to the saddle. The quality of the road is just good for bike trailers - at a slow pace of course.
The length of the route is approx. 14 km and the elevation of 500 m needs to be overcome.
