A total of 16 meters high lookout tower is located a short distance from the top station of the Dedovka cable car, directly above the cottage Koliba.
From a bird's eye view it offers you an impressive view of the surrounding valleys and hills. For example, the village of Oščadnica, Skalité, part of Poland and the Czech Republic, the Malá Fatra mountains (eg Rozsutec, Chleb and Stoh,…) The lookout tower is also a gallery with six exceptional sculptures by Ing. Stanislav Mikovčák. Each of the sculptures has a unique symbolism associated with the history of Kysúc.
You can reach the lookout tower from the Dedovka valley station by a four-seater cable car or on foot in about 35 minutes. The lookout tower is visible from afar, so you will definitely not miss it.
Admission to the lookout tower is free of charge and is open to the public throughout the year.
