




The village of Terchová in dispersed type of settlement is not only the birthplace of Juraj Jánošík, the cradle of folklore and a place full of virgin nature. It's also a place full of fun. The local pine grove has been transformed into a small Jurassic park, where you will experience an endless dose of adventure and adrenaline. It is a place where families with children will definitely not be bored.
The Terchová rope park is built near the football stadium and the Terchová Amphitheater. The biggest attraction and great allurment not only for small but also big visitors is the funicular. In the park, there is a funicular for children and a funicular for adults, which is also designed for older children.
You can enjoy a 40-minute adrenaline experience from 3 to 7 meters above the ground. The tracks themselves consist of a number of diverse rope barriers. It also includes a multi-cable system. The Dino Adventure Rope Park is the only one of its kind in the Malá Fatra Mountains.
The dinosaurs in their life-size lurking among the trees, which make up the park's permanent exposition, complete the perfect prehistory atmosphere as well. You can see here Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus, Bactrosaurus and you can also observe real eggs of dinosaurs.
The rope park is open from May to October. During the summer months of June - August it operates daily.
