The village of Terchová in dispersed type of settlement is not only the birthplace of Juraj Jánošík, the cradle of folklore and a place full of virgin nature. It's also a place full of fun. The local pine grove has been transformed into a small Jurassic park, where you will experience an endless dose of adventure and adrenaline. It is a place where families with children will definitely not be bored.
The Terchová rope park is built near the football stadium and the Terchová Amphitheater. The biggest attraction and great allurment not only for small but also big visitors is the funicular. In the park, there is a funicular for children and a funicular for adults, which is also designed for older children.
You can enjoy a 40-minute adrenaline experience from 3 to 7 meters above the ground. The tracks themselves consist of a number of diverse rope barriers. It also includes a multi-cable system. The Dino Adventure Rope Park is the only one of its kind in the Malá Fatra Mountains.
The dinosaurs in their life-size lurking among the trees, which make up the park's permanent exposition, complete the perfect prehistory atmosphere as well. You can see here Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus, Bactrosaurus and you can also observe real eggs of dinosaurs.
The rope park is open from May to October. During the summer months of June - August it operates daily.

„dať tejto "atrakcii" čo i len jednu hviezdičku je smrteľný hriech .Pred návštevou uvedeného dino parku som si niečo prečítal ,ale šok ,ktorý nasledoval po odchode z "dino parku "je nasledovný!!! Pri vstupe Vás privíta unudená predavačka lístkov a jej strohé nič nehovoriace inštrukcie vás dajú do obrazu po tom čo tam necháte 26 euro za návštevu ,!!! dieťa 4 roky toho moc neočakáva ale ja som ostal ako obarený že fotky na internete s pred 3 rokov sú mementom pre dalších ovážlivcou ,ktorí sa chcú z deťmi pozrieť na dinosaurov ? Jednému upadla hlava inému chýbajú ruky niekde to sanuje páska dalšie namajú zuby snad preto ,že tí čo zaplatia takú cenu za vstupo z pocitu smútku a frustrácie z vyhodených penazi sa snažia dokončiť dielo skazy ! Je to smutné o to viac že atrakcia je namierená do detskej časti populácie a vzhľadom na to že sa nachádza v turistickej oblasti človek očakáva niečo viac nemôžem povedať nič ostal som zdesený .že si niekto dokáže vypýtať peniaze za prehliadku dinosaurov dovezených asi niekde zo skládky komunálneho odpadu v rakusku a ak je lanová dtáha rovnakej kvality ako dinosury je to život ohrozujúca atrakcia a mali by ju zavrieť spolu z majiteľom ,za to že okrádajú ľudí !!!Ajk sa aj po tomto komentári rozhodnete ísť do dinoparku budete další kto tu napíše koment hviezdičku ani nedávam je to zbytočné a nekorešponduje to ani z jednou možností snád mínus 5 by bolo vhodné !!
