This mansion is one of the most beautiful examples of rural Classicist architecture in Slovakia. Already at the time of its creatio, Dolná Krupá has been a place that became famous for its art collections (especially the picture gallery), a rich library, collections of minerals as well as the natural beauty of the park. At present, the castle houses a museum with expositions about life in the castle.
There is also a ceiling fresco featuring a small angel who is turned into the room with his butt. However, when you look at the fresco from any part of the room, the view will always be the same. It's a masterpiece we recommend seeing!
We also offer walks in the historical park with an artificial cave (the so-called Grotta).
