Beautiful nature, rugged landscape, tranquility and beautiful views - these are the perfect attributes of the Ružín area and its surroundings, which attract to take smaller or larger trips. The irresistible places include Drienková rock, often called Malý Sivec, and rises directly above the Ružín water reservoir.

Drienková Rock is a limestone rock with a smaller meadow on it. The area is rich in forest, meadow and rock plant communities, as well as animal communities.

The Rock offers a romantic view of the Ružín dam, the rocky hill of Holica, the railway double-track bridge Ružinov viaduct, the national nature reserve of Bujanov, part of Volovské Hills and in case of good weather, the High Tatras too.

There is an educational forest trail leading through the viewing rock and also a red turning from the green hiking trail, which starts in the resort of Ružín-Košické Hámre. The hike to the Drienková Rock can also be combined with the ascent to the Sivec Hill.
