The "Green Path" tourist-educational trail will take you through interesting attractions of forests and meadows near the mining town of Kremnica. It is a trail focusing on nature science. It was founded in 1990 and was re-established in 2009.
The educational trail is 8.9 km long and there are 8 information stops on the route. The transition time is 4 hours. The terrain is moderately challenging, given the appearance and length of the route. The educational trail has a large and small circuit, while a small circuit is unpretentious and even smaller children can handle it.
The tourist-educational trail starts under the Vejmutovkovský stand, which is one of the oldest stands in Slovakia. The walkway will then lead you through the Andesite rocks, walls and the Kremnica Štós rocky suites where some species of protected orchids can be found. In addition, it is also possible to see some rare plant species in the Bujačia lúka (Bull's Meadow).
On the route of the educational trail, there are beautiful views of the wide mountain meadows, the ancient town of Kremnica and the hills lining Kremnica - Kalvária, Brezový vrch, Šibeničný Hill, Šturec, Jarabica, Krahulský Peak and Trnovník.
