Description
Educational trail Zvonička leads from Nová Baňa to the bell tower from the 19th century, which was built as a part of the pilgrimage site Kohútovo. The bell tower was later enriched by recreation area called Zvonička with places for sitting and relaxation around.
The trail starts in Nová Baňa - Kohutov, is circular and approximately 6 km long. The transition takes about 2 hours. Information boards along the way will inform you about the nature and history of the surrounding landscape. At the highest point of the trail (625 meters above sea level), on the site of a former quarry, there is the Lookout Tower Háj, from which you can enjoy impressive views of the surrounding countryside.
Educational path is easy, suitable for children and is open all year round.
