The Stratensky Canyon Educational Trail is exceptional as it is the first tourist location in the Slovak Paradise accessible to wheelchair users. The Stratenský Canyon is located in the beautiful Stratená Nature Reserve.
The educational trail leads through an undemanding route, which can be used by a wheelchair user without an assistant. The length of the route is 1.1 kilometers and has ten stops.
The path of the educational trail is bidirectional and leads through a paved path through the canyon section of the upper course of the Hnilec River, with monumental perpendicular rock walls that hide all sorts of smaller or larger cracks and caves. Passing through the educational path can be done within 30 minutes.
The most suitable start to the tour is near the village of Stratená from the parking lot at the eastern road tunnel portal. After completing the educational trail, it is possible to continue hiking on marked trails to the dominant viewing point of the area - Raven Rock Hill.
