You do not have to travel abroad to get to know Europe. We also have a small piece of it in Slovakia. The European Square in Komárno is a European architectural unique, which takes away breath of visitors from all over the world.
This unique building complex bears the mark of a rich range of architectures typical for 45 European countries and regions.
The visitor can therefore see and compare the peculiarities and differences of, for example, Finnish, Greenlandic, Icelandic, Ukrainian or Polish architecture in one place. The buildings are also complemented by the magnificent statues of the Hungarian kings.
As you walk through these unique buildings, you will come to other gems that decorate the Komárno Square. These include the so-called German house, behind which a carved bell tower is installed.
Next to the pavement leading to the courtyard, there is a copy of the music pavilion from Anglia Park. Noteworthy are also the statues of the co-patrons of Europe and the four historic entrance gates that complete the overall atmosphere of the square.
