Description
Evičkino jazero (Eve's Lake) is an artificial lake, the rich history of which dates back to the Middle Ages. It is located on the outskirts of the village of Štiavnické Bane.
Its area is 2.32 hectares and it emits a romantic atmosphere which is dominated by the charm of the surrounding nature. The lake is a popular bathing resort during the hot summer months. It is visited by local people, but also by people from the surrounding area, or tourists from all parts of Slovakia.
Access to the lake is trouble-free, surrounded by gentle slopes where you can sunbathe, engage in sports activities, or wade into the shade under the treetops and just relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
You can find great langoš delicacy (traditional food), fries or other snacks and drinks at the nearby buffet.
The water in the lake is checked and tested by the Public Health Authority and is clean.
