One of the extended expositions of the Liptov Museum in Ružomberok is the exposition called "Peasant house and Courtyard Vlkolínec", which presents the way of life and living of the Lower Liptov peasant family from the first half of the 20th century.
The central object of this exposition is a traditional three-space peasant house with farm buildings in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its construction and interior layout are characteristic for mountain areas of central and northern Slovakia.
The courtyard where the peasant's house is situated closes the barn. Its large log construction serves as a storage and working space. Today there are occasional exhibitions from the work of folk craftsmen and other artists, there is a part of the permanent exhibition devoted to traditional agriculture.
