Description
The exhibition of works by the prominent landscape painter and draftsman Ferdinand Katona can be seen in the Ferdinand Katona Gallery in Spišská Nová Ves. The gallery represents a permanent exhibition of the Tatra Gallery in Poprad.
The gallery was opened on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the artist's birth. Visitors can immerse themselves in the author's work on almost a hundred selected works with natural themes of the Spiš region and the High Tatras. Together with landscape work, portrait and figurative work, records from foreign study trips in France, England and the Netherlands are also presented.
The Ferdinand Katona Gallery must be booked in advance by telephone.
