František's Smelting Plant (locally called just "hámor") is a technical monument, a ruin of the ironworks factory hall (smelting plant) from 1836. It is located in Orava, on the outskirts of the village of Podbiel, about 2 km walk along the road to Zuberec.

The historic ironmongery was used in 1836-1863 and is a particularly valuable evidence of the developed industrial production in Orava during the industrial revolution and industrialization. The building is also interesting for its architecture. The classicist façade, the perimeter walls, the blast furnace, the inlet and outlet ducts, the chimney, the blow chamber, the iron ore heap (behind the building) are preserved very well.
