The gallery is housed in a burgher's house in the center of Rožňava, whose origins go back to the end of the 15th century. This house is part of a terraced building on a square that is mainly historical.
The main purpose of the gallery is to present exhibitions. These exhibitions may contain works that are part of the collections of the local Mining Museum, but also works that belong to other owners. The gallery thus offers a various palette of works of art.
In addition to exhibitions, the gallery also hosts other activities. This includes organization of creative workshops, museum-pedagogical classes and discussions. These activities complement the cultural program and provide additional educational and creative opportunities for visitors.
