Description
The town of Bátovce - it is a beautiful nature, outlooks, vineyard houses and cellars in the vineyard area, or endless summer roasting under the starry sky. All this was not left unnoticed by the locals, but they made the best of it.
The Bátovčan civic association has made available an educational trail where tourists can enjoy all that this “Town of Queens” and its surrounding nature offers.
The hiking-educational trail "The Town of Queens" Bátovce is about 5km long. Six educational boards show there historical and natural attractions of Bátovce and its surroundings.
The boards start at the square, the walkway continues through the Lower Gate, passes beside the dam, then through the vineyard area and ends with a fantastic view of the Bátovce panorama and surroundings. The terrain is not difficult and takes about four hours to complete.
Be sure to find a moment to relax during this hiking-educational trip. For example, you can stop by the local refreshment facilities or at the historic cellars to soak up the delicious wineyard atmosphere.
