The Horné Lazy observation tower is one of the highest observation towers in Slovakia. It is an impressive almost 40 m high, and when climbing to its top, you will overcome a total of 192 steps. You will be rewarded with beautiful panoramic views of the entire Low Tatras from Kráľová hola to Banská Bystrica, the royal city of Brezno, Horehronské podolie, and Veporské vrchy. Thanks to the binoculars, which you can use free of charge on the tower, you can enjoy the views of the surrounding landscape in the smallest detail.

You can reach the observation tower from several directions.The easiest access is from Brezno, from the Banisko location following an approximately 4km long route. If you come by car, you can park in the free parking lots - at the S1 shopping center, at the Tesco Hypermarket or at Kauflaund. Hiking trails also lead to the observation tower from the villages of Valaská, Bystrá or Mýto pod Ďumbierom from the Pohanské part.

An educational interactive trail leads from Brezno to the lookout tower, on which tourists will find, in addition to interesting information about the nature of the locality, also wooden sculptures of animals living in the forests of Horny Lazy.A part of the trail is also a 4-meter wooden megaphone, in which you will have an interesting experience - it amplifies the sounds of the surrounding forest, which you can fully enjoy in the megaphone.
