If you want to find yourself in the very geographical center of Slovakia, you have to climb the massive wooded hill of Hrb. It is the northern peak of the Ľubietovský Vepor massif, a distinctive andesite ridge on the northern border of the Poľana Mountains.
The Hrb Hill is not one of the most visited places of tourists, but its spectacular, up to 40 meters high rocky rock is definitely worth a visit. In addition, from the top, it opens a beautiful view to all directions, which captivates probably everyone.
The hill is part of the Ľubietovský Vepor National Nature Reserve. The subject of protection is not only the interesting and unique parts of the Andesite ridge, but also the original mountain forest stands with the preservation of natural vegetation stages.
The easiest access is from Ľubietová - Včelinec, where you can park and go along the marked tourist route, from which the peak is about 3 km away.
