Get to know the charming nature of Upper Liptov. Hybická gorge will show yourself at its best form. It is located north of the village Východná and it is a nature reserve in the protection zone of the Tatra National Park.

Hybická Gorge was modeled by the Hybica creek, which flows through limestone. This beautiful corner of Slovakia is relatively little visited by tourists, because only the field road from the village Východná and the forest from Podbanské leads to the locality. The passage through the gorge leads through the stream bed in large part.

The gorge is characterized by high air humidity, so you may feel like being in a rainforest. Finally, natural phenomena such as tall rocks, a gurgling stream and a forest rich in a variety of rare plant and animal species will only amplify this feeling in you. There are plans to build an educational trail on this site.
