IBOvka is not only a fire protection tower, but also a wonderful observation tower. With its impressive height of 32.5 meters, it offers you an extraordinary view of the surrounding forests. The tower has 10 floors, but only the first 9 floors are open to the public. On each floor there are nicely processed information boards from the history of forestry, hunting to the present day and about the fauna and flora of the surrounding forests.
The ninth floor serves as an observation deck, but the 10th floor can be rented for birdwatching in the treetops.
We can get to the tower from several sides, but the most convenient way is along the path from the IBO Relax buffet. A narrow asphalt road leads from the village of Horné Orechové to the buffet. There is a parking lot here and an asphalt and pebble road leads to the lookout point. Tables and benches are built around the buffet, and there are gazebos with fireplaces below.
Visit IBOvka and enjoy the beautiful views and gain new knowledge about the flora and fauna of the surrounding forests.
