Description
Ivan's Hill is one of the many tourist destinations of visitors to Slanské Hills. This distinctive top is located outside the main ridge and consists of two separate peaks (East and West) separated by a small saddle.
The hill and its surroundings offer great hiking in every season. The beautiful forest stands of beech, ash and maple trees blend with the rugged rocky debris and high rocky cliffs, where you can enjoy a beautiful view especially of hills of Praporec, Šimonka, Čierna hora and Oblík.
An undemanding hike along the marked paths leading through the pleasant forest environment of Slanské vrchy can be started in the village of Hermanovce nad Topľou (approx. 3 km), in Zámutov or in Hlinné, or in Rudlov. There is also a marked cycling trail below the summit of Ivan's Hill.
