Jurassic Park is not only a domain of film studios, but you can also find it in Slovakia. Specifically in the village of Jur nad Hronom. The park with the symbolic name Jurassic Park in the village of Jur nad Hronom was reconstructed in 2005 and since then it delights both small and large visitors.
The dominant feature of the park, as well as the whole village, is a 5-meter-high statue of a dinosaur that is made of concrete and has a distinctive name - Dino.
Jurassic Park is primarily a place for social and sporting events, but the owners would like to present it as a place full of artistic statues of dinosaurs over time. Part of the park is a relaxation zone and amphitheater suitable for organizing festivals, summer entertainment and dancing events.
For sports enthusiasts, there is a sports area for tennis, volleyball, basketball and handball. There is also a space for camping, as the navigable river Hron is in close proximity.
The park is also open to young artists who are interested in placing their works (statues, sculptures) with dinosaur themes.
You can get to the park from the main road through the village, by the turn at the belfry. There is also a marked cycling trail leading through the village.
