Description
Kľačianska Magura is a sought-after location of recreational tourists as well as hikers, situated in Turiec region. It is a hill in Krivánska Little Tatra, peak of which is not accessible to tourists, because it is part of the National Nature Reserve Kľačianska Magura.
The steps of each tourist lead to the southern slope, where Cottage below Kľačianska Magura is surrounded by the harmonious nature of Turiec.
Several hiking trails lead to the cottage, offering magical natural scenery. The shortest route is via the green trail from Turčianske Kľačany. The locality is a favourite weekend destination for people from Martin not only for its beautiful nature, .
Kľačianska Magura also offers an excellent cycling route, which is not very demanding. As you climb, you will enjoy beautiful views especially of the city of Martin and its wide surroundings.
However, if it is not enough for you, Kľačianska Magura is also an excellent starting point for ascending the ridge of Krivánská Little Fatra.
