Charming Kláštorná Ravine in the Slovak Paradise National Park was created by a stream flowing below the tourist centre of Kláštorisko and leading directly to the Hornád River. The ravine was known long before it was first opened to all tourism enthusiasts in 1960.
The passage through this ravine is enriched with the rushing waters rolling from the height of several waterfalls in the following order:
The exposed sections are also secured by a number of technical access facilities such as chains, iron risers or ladders.
The Kláštorná revine is 1.5 km long and you overcome an undemanding 224 meters of elevation.
The revine is part of the National Nature Reserve Hornád Breakthrough. There is a green hiking trail with mandatory walking direction upstream.
