The picturesque village of Klokočov in Turzovská Upland is enchanted by the interesting natural phenomenon called Klokočov Rocks.
On an area of about 6 hectares, there are interesting spherical sandstone formations that are considered to be a unique phenomenon in the Kysuce region.
Klokočov Rocks Nature Reserve has become home to some rare and endangered species of plants and animals.
Access to the site is along a blue-marked hiking trail that starts at the main road. After a rather steep but very short climb, you can reach Klokočov Rocks in less than 10 - 15 minutes.
Nowadays, Klokočov Rocks is a part of the educational and tourist trail with four information boards describing the visitors this local natural phenomenon.
