Description
The artificial water reservoir Krpáčovo is incorporated into the beautiful foothills of the Horehronie. The reservoir as well as its surroundings is a popular tourist resort that has something to offer in every season.
In the summer months the reservoir is used for swimming, water sports or fishing. The reservoir has a slightly grassy banks with gradual entry into the water, so it is ideal for families with children. There are several catering and accommodation facilities at the reservoir.
Those full of refreshing water and lounging can venture out to explore the surrounding area. The water reservoir is located near Vajskovska valley, which is one of the most beautiful and longest valleys with a massive Vajskovský Waterfall. Cyclists can also come here to visit the nearby Tále or the Bystrianska Cave.

„Miesto je prekrasne,chtu pri jazere ma novy majitel,ohradil si ju paskou a turistov z ktotých chce v buducnosti žiť vyhadzuje arogatným spôsobom preč,lebo je to predsa moje tak móžem vsetko(aj opáskovať si prístupovu cestu).pozdravujem v mene všetkých ktorí sa tam včera otáčali a odchádzali s pozdravom nikdy viac.Samo“
