Description

If you want to experience a spectacular trip in the Carpathians and at the same time enjoy not only the beautiful nature but also great views, Kršlenica is exactly what you are looking for. It is a hill, a nature reserve and a climbing area in one. Nature lovers, hikers and climbers will find their place here.

Kršlenica is situated around Plavecký Mikuláš. The reservation is formed by Mokrá dolina and surrounding hills. The site is dominated by an impressive grouping of rocks formed by cliffs, grikes fields, and numerous karst phenomena - pits, gaps and small caves.

You can also walk on some of the Kršlenice Rocks, along a narrow, beaten path. From Krešlenice hill, there is a very nice view of the valley of Plavecký Mikuláš and Mokrá dolina (Wet Valley). In front of the peak, there is a deforested clearing with a fireplace, where you can sit and relax.

Hiking in the nature reserve is ideal for all categories of tourists. The route is not difficult. Good accessibility is from the village of Plavecký Mikuláš (about 2 km away). There are two marked hiking trails - green and yellow - in the Kršlenica Nature Reserve. The green one leads through the valley of Mokrá, while yellow one goes through the Kršlenica hill and the Čierna skala (Black rock) to the ridge of the Little Carpathians.
