The Limes Gallery in Komárno presents a rich collection of works of contemporary domestic and foreign modern art. The Limes Gallery is housed in the magnificent premises of a former Franciscan military church, where art exhibits are installed in the hall and on the choir.
Gallery visitors can see not only paintings, but also graphics, sculpture, photography, installations, performances, conceptual and action art. The whole tour of fine art is enhanced by the architecture and acoustics of the Baroque building. The exhibitions are regularly tinted by cultural performances of music, dance, drama and evangelistic character.
The Limes Gallery offers space to introduce the works of beginning as well as jubilee artists or artists interested in the specifics of their work in all art disciplines. In addition, every second year disabled people present themselves in the gallery with their works of art.
All events in the gallery take place in a festive and dignified atmosphere.
