Below the top of the Hrebeň hill (240 m asl) above Holíč there is a stone lookout tower built as part of a cross-border project from European funds. The viewing platform at the top at a height of 12 meters offers enchanting views not only of the town of Holíč but also of the nearby surroundings and the panorama of the White Carpathians.
The lookout tower is of stone construction with reinforced concrete filling, lined with quarry stone. The upper part is made of wooden construction. The total height of the lookout tower is about 17 meters.
It is interesting that a time box was built into the walls of the lookout tower, which is to be opened in 100 years.
Marked cycling route leads to the lookout tower, but also yellow marked tourist trail from the city center of Holíč. The route length is less than 2 km and takes about half an hour. This is a easy walk, suitable even for children or the elderly.
The lookout tower is accessible during the opening hours, which you can find on the lookout tower's website.
