If you want to enjoy the beautiful view of Orava Dam, Babia Hora Hill and the panorama of the Western Tatras and the surrounding hills, take a hike to the observation tower Borová above Tvrdošín.
The simple wooden lookout tower is about 11 meters high and lies near the gardening settlement on the hillside of Uhlisko Hill.
An unmarked asphalt and a path through the field and pasturesleads and the mountain back Borová above Tvrdošín leads to the observation tower. The route is approximately 3 km long. The second option is to walk along the red trail from the mouth of the Orava Dam towards Uhlisko and from there to the observation tower along an unmarked route through pastures.
Lookout tower is open all year round.
