In the middle of the vast fields between the villages of Rozhanovce, Čižatice and Chrastné stands a tourist lookout tower of remarkable architecture that reminds of a medieval watchtower. Its features are clearly visible from a distance.
The stone building stands by a lone cherry tree in a place where the Battle of Rozhanovce took place in 1312. Thus, the observation tower also reminds of these unpleasant historical times.
The lookout tower rises to a height of 12 meters, although it may seem to be standing flat, with the last step you take climbing upwards you will get beautiful views. You will be most enchanted by the perfect view of the Slanské Hills, part of the Volovské Hills with the Kojšovská Hoľa Hill or the Torysa River Valley.
You can reach the lookout tower on foot or by car, from the highest point of the purpose-built semi-asphalt road - Bunkovce, which connects villages of Chrastné and Čižatice.
