A unique observation tower with an elevation of about 30 meters has grown above town of Bojnice. It is a relatively demanding technical construction, which is unprecedented in Slovakia. The lookout tower in Bojnice was inspired by a similar tower located in Moravia.
From the outlook tower, you will get an impressive view of the surrounding countryside, Bojnice Castle and its surroundings, even of town of Prievidza, which is not commonly seen from a lower height. Part of the construction is a water slide, where the brave visitors can slide from the top of the tower down.
The observation tower is located in a wooded area, west of Bojnice Castle. It lies near the Bojnice Calvary and the Chapel of St. Vendelin in the woods. There is a paved path leading to the forest, suitable for bicycles or prams, and marked hiking trails from Bojnice and Bojnice Spa. The walk from Bojnice takes approximately 40 minutes. In the future, a cable car from the thermal bath Čajka is planned. If you decide to come by car, the car park is 5 minutes away from the lookout tower.
Entry to the lookout is controlled and charged.
