The observation tower is located not far from the forest railway station - in the Beskydy Saddle. Since the tower is built on the border of Orava and Kysuce regions, you can look around not only for the beautiful panorama of Orava, but also the nature of Kysuce. First you will surely see the mountain range of Orava Beskydy and from Little Fatra, you can see the unmistakable Velky Rozsutec Hill.
The wooden lookout tower rises above the railway line on a gentle slope. From the station, there is a walkway leading there, including signposts marked as Lookout Tower - 5 minutes. The site also has an asphalt road and a marked cycling route.
A lookout tower made of natural materials fits perfectly into the surrounding countryside full of deciduous trees or large meadows, where cows usually graze.
The lookout tower is not demanding. Wooden stairs with railings lead to the observation platform itself,so you can come here with the smallest ones as well.
