Description
The impressive, 15-meter-high lookout tower stands majestically above the village of Zákamenné. The wooden tower was built within the EU project of cross-border cooperation of Poland and Slovakia. Its location has been carefully selected to offer the most beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. You will be enchanted by the view of the upper Orava dominants such as Babia hora Hill, Pilsko Hill, but also Orava Magura and the Western Tatras.
The undemanding, about 2 km long marked hiking trail leads to the tower from the shop in the village centre, which is also suitable for families with children. More experienced tourists can continue along the route to the top of the Úšust Hill (14 km long).
