Description
Deforested hill of Drieňová above the village Jedľové Kostoľany offers itself a beautiful circular views of the wide surroundings. Obviously, thanks to this advantageous location, a lookout tower was built from which you can see even more.
The original metal-wooden lookout tower has been replaced by a new one, which already has an all-metal construction. The viewing platform offers views of the surrounding villages and nature. From the hills, you can observe Inovec, Hrušov or Hostie, but also Žibrica and Zobor.
The lookout tower rises at an altitude of 551.4 meters. The marked hiking trail from Jedľové Kostoľany (about 1km long) leads to the tower. The trail is not demanding and is suitable for all ages. The area is also rich in natural attractions or cultural monuments.
