The lookout tower on Krahulský Hill will enchant you not only with its beautiful views of the nature of the Kremnica Mountains, but also with the architecture itself, thanks to which it has become a sought after attraction for all visitors and tourists of the town of Kremnica and its surroundings.
The lookout tower is built on the Krahulský Hill at 959 meters above sea level, between Kremnica and the neighboring village Krahule. It is designed in the style of a three-storey tower with a hexagonal floor plan. The construction is made of solid timber and a spiral staircase will lead you to the individual viewing platforms.
From the top floor, you can enjoy beautiful views not only of the nearby Kremnické and Štiavnické Mountains or the town of Kremnica with the surrounding villages, but in good visibility you can see the hills of remote Little Fatra as well.
Several marked hiking trails lead to Krahulský Hill with a lookout tower. For families with children and less able-bodied tourists, the unpretentious route from the village of Krahule, which you overcome in 40 minutes, is ideal. Slightly more demanding route leads from the centre of Kremnica and lasts about 1 hour 45 minutes, with an elevation of 350 m.
