Not only for the faithful, but also for the general public, the Ľutinská hora (Ľutina Hill) is a well-known place of revelation of St. Nicholas to a poor girl Zuzana Fekete. Today, the Ľutinská hora, that spreads above the village of Ľutina, is the largest pilgrimage site of Greek Catholics in Slovakia.
The center of this place is the Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary with a magnificent complex, located only 800 meters from the Ľutinská Mountain. It is a place where thousands of believers gather every year, either at the main pilgrimage or at various liturgical and prayer celebrations.
There are four chapels on Ľutinská hora:
The complex also includes the formation house of Mikuláš Klimčák, which serves for various spiritual meetings or exercises and houses a permanent exhibition of works of art from Slovakia and abroad. Unusual beauty and spiritual atmosphere is also offered by the Garden of the Mother of God, which offers a wonderful walk, as well as a place for the Rosary prayer.
Also noteworthy is the mini-museum of wooden temples, where visitors can admire miniature wooden predominantly Greek Catholic temples in Slovakia in 1:10 scale.
