The ski resort is located directly above the town of Martin in Little Fatra. It is one of the few resorts that is unique in its abundance of natural snow. Until 2008, the resort was managed without artificial snow.
The resort is one of the "city" ski resorts that has its tradition and history. Skiers are being served by 6 lifts and one 6-seater. The combination of light and challenging tracks will satisfy all types of skiers.
Martinky is an ideal place for families with children. There is also a children's ski lift, as well as a ski kindergarten and school.
The resort also attracts snowboarders who have the opportunity to show off their freestyle art in the Aranburu snowboard & free style arena.
For those who would like to try something more than classic skiing, snowkiting courses are prepared as well.
After good skiing, you get always hungry, so you can head to a small buffet called "Na svahu" (On the Slope) with a quick snack right on the ski slope and then resume skiing. Or just sit back, recharge your batteries and enjoy a good meal at the Panorama buffet with views of the Turčianska Basin.
At the moment, the resort can only be reached by car that needs to be equipped with snow chains.
